Responsibility
An integral part of our mission is to advocate on behalf of our members in support of parks and recreation programs and services and promote the value of accessible open space and parks in all NC communities. We need your help to raise awareness and continue to tell our story of the essential role of parks and recreation.
Our goal is to inform you of any legislative issues and provide you with the tools to be an effective advocate for parks & recreation.
Our advocacy efforts are multifaceted to assure that the public, elected officials, and our own professionals are prepared to be active advocates for the programs and services provided by parks & recreation agencies throughout our state.
